Parts and accessories

BMW recommends using only those replacement parts and accessories on the vehicle that BMW has specifically approved for this purpose.

It is best to purchase genuine BMW replacement parts, accessories and other BMW-recommended products directly from a BMW Service Center. These replacement parts and accessories have been tested by BMW for safety, functionality and suitability for use. BMW assumes responsibility for these products.

BMW assumes no responsibility for spare parts and accessories that it has not recommended.

BMW is not able to judge the suitability of every individual third-party product, i.e., whether the product can be used on BMW vehicles without endangering life and health. Such assurance cannot always be provided even by approval from federal certification and supervisory authorities. These authorities are not able to take into account all operating conditions of BMW vehicles, so their testing may prove insufficient.◄
