Opening from outside

Press the button, see arrow, or press and hold the button for approximately 1 secondon the remote control. The tailgate will unlatch slightly and can then be lifted up.

The mechanical key built into the remote control and the spare key fit the tailgate lock.

Manual Opening

Insert the mechanical or spare key into the tailgate lock and turn it counterclockwise (to the left) as far as it will go:

the tailgate will open.

If the vehicle is armed, opening the tailgate with the key triggers the alarm. To turn off the alarm:◄
