Operating Principle

The alarm system responds to:

► opening the passenger doors, hood or tailgate;
► movement inside the vehicle (Interior monitoring system, see below);
► change in vehicle tilt, for example, when an attempt is made to steal a wheel or tow the vehicle;
► interruption of battery power.

The alarm responds to unauthorized actions differently depending on the export version of the vehicle, namely:

► the alarm horn sounds for 30 seconds;
► the hazard warning lights flash for approximately 5 minutes.
