Interior care
Fabric upholstery
Vacuum the upholstery regularly to remove surface dirt.
To remove heavy stains, use a soft sponge or microfiber cloth and a suitable cleaning agent, following the instructions on its packaging.
Clean upholstery with sweeping movements. Avoid rubbing it hard.◄
Hook-and-loop fasteners (Velcro) on trousers and other clothing can damage seat upholstery. Make sure they are fastened.◄
Leather / leather upholstery
The leather used by BMW is an expensive natural material. A slightly uneven surface is characteristic of this material and emphasizes its natural origin.◄ Dust and road dirt penetrating pores and creases promote increased abrasion and premature brittleness of the leather. Therefore, clean the leather regularly from dust with a cloth or vacuum cleaner.
This applies especially to light-colored leather, which soils more quickly.
Dirt and grease gradually destroy the protective film of the leather, so restore it twice a year using special leather care products.
Floor covering / luggage compartment
Clean the floor covering and floor mats with a vacuum cleaner. For heavy soiling, use an interior cleaner.
The floor mats can be removed for interior cleaning. To avoid damage, position the floor mats so that the seat rails do not run over them.
Fibers on the mats are a result of the manufacturing process. They are removed when vacuumed.

Interior sensors and cameras
