As an exception – on the front passenger seat

If, contrary to recommendations, you still decide to install a child safety system on the front passenger seat, be sure to deactivate (disable) the front passenger airbags on that side. A deployed airbag can seriously injure a child, even when a child safety system is installed.

Seat height

Before installing a universal child safety system on the front passenger seat, move the seat to its highest position so the seat belt does not interfere. Do not lower the seat any further.
