Using residual heat

Heat stored in the engine is used to heat the interior, for example, while stopped at a railway crossing.

You can use this function for up to 15 minutes after switching off the ignition, while the engine has not yet cooled and the battery has sufficient charge. The outside air temperature must be below 25 °C. If these conditions are met and the function is active, the LED in the button lights up.
