Fuel Filler Cap

Opening

1. Open the fuel filler flap.

To do this, press the rear edge of the cover.

2. Turn the fuel filler cap counterclockwise.

3. Place the fuel filler cap in the holder on the flap.

Closing

Insert the cap and turn it clockwise until it clicks audibly.

Manual Release of the Fuel Filler Flap

If there is a fault in the electrical system, the fuel filler flap can be unlocked manually:

1. Remove the cover in the side wall of the luggage compartment.

2. Pull the button with the fuel pump symbol. The fuel filler flap unlocks.

Refuelling procedure

When handling fuel, observe the safety regulations applicable at filling stations.◄

When refueling, insert the fuel nozzle into the filler neck. Attempting to lift the nozzle during refueling leads to

► premature shut-off of the fuel supply;
► reduced fuel vapor recovery.

The tank can be considered full when the fuel nozzle shuts off for the first time.

Fuel Tank Capacity

Approximately 60 liters, including reserve:

► gasoline engines – approximately 8 liters;
► diesel engines – approximately 6.5 liters.

When the driving range is less than 50 kilometers, be sure to refuel, otherwise you risk damaging the engine.◄
