Halogen Headlights

H7 bulb, 55 W

The H7 bulb is under pressure.

Wear safety glasses and gloves. Risk of injury if the bulb is damaged.◄

Your vehicle is equipped with halogen headlights of one of two versions.

The headlight versions differ mainly in their covers. The low beam and high beam headlights have separate covers.

Install the covers correctly, otherwise leaks may damage the headlight.◄

Bulb access, version 1

The high beam bulb is replaced from the engine compartment side. The low beam bulb can be reached through the opening in the wheel arch.

Removing the covers:

1. Fold back the clip, see arrows.
2. Fold back the cover and remove it from the guide.

Install the covers in the reverse order.

Bulb access, version 2

The high beam bulb is replaced from the engine compartment side. The low beam bulb can be reached through the opening in the wheel arch.

Removing the covers:

► High beam: press the latch, arrow 4, and remove the cover from the guide.
► Low beam: turn the cover counterclockwise, arrow 5.

Install the covers in the reverse order.

Access through the wheel arch opening

For low beam headlights and turn signals only:

1. Turn the wheel inward.
2. Open the opening in the wheel arch.

Replacing the low beam and high beam bulbs, version 1

1. Remove the cover of the corresponding headlight.
2. Disconnect the plug from the bulb.
3. Release the side clip, arrow 1, and move it down, arrow 2.

4. Remove the bulb.
5. Insert the new bulb.
6. Lift and snap the clip into place.
7. Connect the plug.
8. Install the cover.

Replacing the low beam and high beam bulbs, version 2

1. Remove the cover of the corresponding headlight.
2. Press the bulb up, see arrow, and remove it by pulling toward you.

3. Disconnect the plug from the bulb.
4. Connect the plug to the new bulb.
5. Insert the bulb into the holder from above and push it forward until it locks.
6. Install the cover.

Parking and side marker lights

Bulb 5 W, W 5 W

1. Remove the high beam headlight cover.
2. Remove the bulb holder, see arrow.

3. Remove the bulb from the holder and replace it.
4. Install the bulb holder.
5. Install the cover.

Front turn signals

Bulb 21 W, PY 21 W or PY 21 W Silver Vision

1. Turn bulb holder 1 counterclockwise and remove it.

2. Press the bulb slightly, turn it counterclockwise, remove it and replace it.
3. Install bulb holder 1.
4. Close the opening in the wheel arch.
