1 Status display field:

► audio and video systems:

radio, CD player, TV;

oraudio systems muted

► telephone in the “Communication” menu:

name of the registered telephone, BMW Assist activity, network search or no network

2 Traffic information broadcast status:

► „TP“:

broadcast switched on

► „T“:

broadcast switched off, but the set station is transmitting traffic announcements

► Empty field:

the set station is not transmitting traffic announcements

3 Traffic information reception status:

► „TMC“:

traffic information for the navigation system is being received and its broadcast is switched on

► „Vi+“:

“Traffic info +” traffic information is being received and its broadcast is switched on

4 Missed call

5 Telephone status:

► telephone connection available

► flashing: connection established

► mobile network signal strength

6 Time Other displays:

If there is a message from the Automatic Diagnosis System or during voice control, a notification appears on this line instead of the status information.
