Blower

Includes the following controls:
- Temperature control
- Fan speed
- Airflow distribution
- Defogging and defrosting
- Air recirculation

- Cooling

Temperature control
Set the temperature by turning the knob.
Red = warmer
Blue = cooler
Fan speed
Changing the fan speed switch adjusts the airflow strength.
Airflow distribution
Select the airflow direction by turning the center knob.
: Airflow is directed
to the upper body. Each vent can be adjusted.
: Airflow is directed
to the upper body and floor.
: Most of the airflow
is directed to the floor, with a small amount directed to the windshield and side vents.
: Most of the airflow
is directed to the floor and windshield, with a small amount directed to the side vents.
: Most of the airflow
is directed to the windshield, with a small amount directed to the side vents.
Defogging the windshield

- Turn the airflow distribution knob to the defrost position.
. - Air recirculation will automatically switch to fresh air intake and the air conditioning will be switched on.
If air conditioning is not needed, turn the airflow distribution knob to the floor/defrost position
. - Set the desired temperature.
- Use the fan speed knob to set the desired airflow strength.
Air recirculation

Air recirculation is operated with the
.
Warning Driving for extended periods with air recirculation on may cause occupants to become drowsy. To bring in outside air, turn air recirculation off periodically.
In recirculation mode, air exchange is limited. If cooling is off, humidity inside the vehicle increases, which may cause the windows to fog up. Because air quality gradually deteriorates, occupants may feel drowsy.
Cooling
This function is operated with the button
and is available
only when the engine is running and the blower is on.
The air conditioning system cools and dehumidifies the air when the outside temperature rises slightly above freezing point. For this reason, drops of condensed water may drip from under the vehicle.
If cooling or air dehumidification is not needed, switch off the cooling system to reduce fuel consumption.
The air conditioning does not work when the fan speed knob is in the OFF position.
Even if the air conditioning is switched on, the vehicle will produce warm air if the temperature control knob is in the red area.
To switch off the air conditioning, turn the blower speed knob to position 0.
Caution Use only the appropriate refrigerant.
Warning Air conditioning systems must be serviced only by qualified personnel.Improper servicing methods may cause injury.
Normal cooling
- Switch on the air conditioning.
- Set the temperature control knob to the blue area.
- Turn the airflow distribution knob to the desired position.
- Use the fan speed knob to set the desired airflow strength.
Maximum cooling mode

For maximum cooling at high outside temperatures or after the vehicle has been parked in the sun for a long time:
- Switch on the air conditioning.
- Press the recirculation button to turn on air recirculation mode.
- Turn the temperature control knob fully to the left (start of the blue area).
- Set the blower speed knob to maximum speed.
