NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS

Normal operating conditions are typical, everyday conditions. The regular maintenance schedule must be observed.

SEVERE OPERATING CONDITIONS

When the vehicle is operated under the conditions listed below, some maintenance procedures must be performed twice as often. For details, see the section "PERIODIC MAINTENANCE" in the service manual.

• Frequent short trips (less than 10 km).
• Extended idling and/or low-speed driving in heavy traffic.
• Driving on unpaved roads.
• Driving in hilly or mountainous terrain.
• Towing a trailer.
• Driving in heavy city traffic when outside air temperature regularly reaches 32 °C or higher.
• Use as a taxi, police vehicle, or delivery vehicle.
• Frequent operation in sub-zero outside temperatures. Driving school use.
