Oil level indicator
System informing the driver whether the engine oil level is correct or not.

This information is displayed for a few seconds when the ignition is switched on, after the service information.
Correct oil level

Low oil level

It is indicated by the flashing of "OIL", together with the service warning light, accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display.
If the low oil level is confirmed by checking the dipstick, top up the level without fail to avoid engine damage.
Oil level gauge fault

It is indicated by the flashing of "OIL--". Consult a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
Dipstick
Refer to the "Checks" chapter to locate the dipstick and oil filler cap depending on your engine.

2 level marks on the dipstick: - A = maximum; never exceed this level (risk of engine damage), - B = minimum; top up the level through the oil filler cap, using the oil type suited to your engine.
