Demisting - front defrosting

These symbols on the facia show the position of the controls for quickly demisting or defrosting the windscreen and side windows.

With the heating / ventilation system

- Set the temperature and airflow controls to the dedicated symbol position.

- Set the air intake control to the “Outside air intake” position (manual control moved to the right or electric control with indicator light off).

- Set the air distribution control to the “Windscreen” position.

With manual air conditioning system

- Set the temperature and airflow controls to the dedicated symbol position.

- Set the air intake control to the “Outside air intake” position (manual control moved to the right or electric control with indicator light off).

- Set the air distribution control to the “Windscreen” position.

- Switch on the air conditioning by pressing the “A/C” button; the green indicator light comes on.

With Stop & Start, as long as these functions - demisting, air conditioning and airflow - are activated, STOP mode is not available.
