This position allows the wiper blades to be raised for winter parking, and to be cleaned or replaced without damaging the bonnet.

Within one minute of switching off the ignition, any action on the wiper control positions the blades vertically.

To reposition the blades after servicing, switch on the ignition and operate the control.

To maintain the effectiveness of flat-blade wipers, we recommend that you: - handle them with care,
- clean them regularly with soapy water,
- do not use them to hold a cardboard sheet against the windscreen,
- replace them at the first signs of wear.
