It detects any obstacle (person, vehicle, tree, barrier, etc.) behind the vehicle, except obstacles located directly under the bumper.

An object, such as a bollard, a roadworks cone or any similar object, may be detected at the start of the manoeuvre, but may no longer be detected when the vehicle is close to it.
