Identification elements

~1min read

Your vehicle has several visible markings used to identify it and locate its details

Elementy identyfikacyjne

A. Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N.) under the bonnet. The number is engraved on the bodywork near the cabin filter.

B. Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N.) on the lower crossbar of the windscreen. The number is on a label stuck on the glass and visible through the windscreen.

C. Manufacturer's label.

This tamper-evident label, affixed to the centre pillar on the left, contains the following information:

  • the manufacturer's name,
  • EU type-approval number,
  • Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N.),
  • technically permissible maximum laden mass of the vehicle,
  • maximum permissible gross train weight,
  • maximum load on the front axle,
  • maximum load on the rear axle.

D. Tyre/paint label

The label affixed to the centre pillar on the driver's side contains the following information:

  • tyre pressure values for the vehicle unladen and laden,
  • tyre dimensions (including the load index and speed symbol of the tyre),
  • spare wheel pressure value,
  • paint code.
Tyre pressure must be checked on cold tyres at least once a month. Low tyre pressure increases fuel consumption.
