Emergency call with location
In an emergency, press and hold this button
for more than 2 seconds.
A flashing green indicator and a voice message confirm that the call to the "Emergency call with location" platform* has started.
Pressing this button again quickly cancels the call.
The green indicator goes off.
Pressing and holding this button for more than 8 seconds (at any time) cancels the call.
The green indicator stays on (does not flash) when the call has been established.
It goes off when the call ends.
The call is handled by the "Emergency call with location" platform, which receives the vehicle's location and can alert the appropriate emergency services.
In countries where the platform does not provide services, or if the location service is unavailable, the call is routed directly to the emergency number (112) without location.
In the event of a collision detected by the airbag ECU, the emergency call is made automatically, whether or not the airbag has been deployed. If you have a DS Connect BOX with the SOS and assistance package, you also have access to additional services in your MyCITROËN personal area via the CITROËN website for your country.* These services are subject to conditions and availability.

System operation
When the ignition is switched on, the green indicator lights up for
3 seconds, confirming that the system is working correctly.
If the orange indicator flashes and
then goes off, the system is not working correctly.
If the orange indicator stays on continuously, the backup battery must be replaced.
In both cases, the emergency call and assistance services may not work.
Contact a specialist workshop as soon as possible.
A malfunction of the system does not prevent the vehicle from being driven.
