Passenger Transport

DO NOT TRANSPORT PASSENGERS IN THE CARGO AREA.

  • Do not leave children or animals inside parked vehicles in hot weather. Interior heat buildup may result in serious injury or death.
  • It is extremely dangerous to ride in a cargo area, inside or outside of a vehicle. In a crash, people riding in these areas are more likely to be seriously injured or killed.
  • Do not allow people to ride in any area of your vehicle that is not equipped with seats and seat belts.
  • Make sure all occupants in your vehicle are in their seats and wearing their seat belts properly.

Pet Transport

Front seat air bags can injure your pet. An unrestrained pet can be thrown and may be injured or injure a passenger during sudden braking or in a crash.

Pets should be restrained in the rear seat (if available) with a pet harness or pet carrier secured by seat belts.
