End-of-life vehicle disposal provisions

For years FCA has pursued a global commitment to protecting and respecting the environment through continuous improvement of production processes and the development of increasingly "eco-friendly" products. To provide customers with the best possible service in compliance with environmental regulations and in response to the obligations arising from European Directive 2000/53/EC on end-of-life vehicles, FCA offers its customers the option of handing in their end-of-life vehicle at no additional cost. The European Directive in fact provides that the vehicle may be handed in without the last holder or owner incurring costs due to its zero or negative market value.

To hand in your end-of-life vehicle at no additional cost, you can contact our dealers if you are purchasing another vehicle, or one of the collection and dismantling centres authorised by FCA. These centres have been carefully selected to guarantee a service with adequate quality standards for the collection, treatment and recycling of scrapped vehicles in respect of the environment.
