Pressure Release

  1. Refer to: Gasoline and Gasoline-Ethanol Fuel Systems Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
  2. Remove the following components:
    • Fuse 80
  3. Start the engine and let it idle.
  4. Wait until the engine stalls.
  5. Crank the engine for approximately 5 seconds to release the fuel pressure.
  6. Install the following components:
    • Fuse 80
