Removal and Installation - Active Grille Shutter

Removal

1. 1
   Remove the cooling module.
   Refer to: Cooling Module (303-03A Engine Cooling - 1.5 L EcoBoost (132 kW/180 L hp) - I3 (Y1), Removal and Installation).
   Refer to: Cooling Module (303-03B Engine Cooling - 2 L EcoBoost (177 kW/240 L hp) - MI4, Removal and Installation).
   Refer to: Cooling Module (303-03C Engine Cooling, Removal and Installation).

   If equipped.
   Remove the CCM.
   Refer to: Cruise Control Module (CCM) (419-03B Cruise Control - Vehicles With: Adaptive Cruise Control, Removal and Installation).

   1. Remove the upper radiator support insulators.

   2. Remove the lower radiator support insulators and separate the active grille shutter from the cooling module.

   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
