Inspection
- Periodically inspect the seat belts for damage and to ensure they remain in proper working condition, especially if they have been subjected to severe stress.
- Before installing a new seat belt, inspect the seat belt attachment areas for damage and distortion. If the attachment points are damaged or deformed, return the sheet metal to its original shape and structural integrity.
- Install new seat belts using the appropriate procedure. Perform the appropriate functional test procedure for all seating positions.
