Air Cleaner. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTICE: Turbocharger compressor blades can be damaged by even the smallest particles. When removing any turbocharger or engine air intake system component, make sure that no debris enters the system. Failure to do so may result in damage to the turbocharger.

1. 1. Remove the bolts, disconnect the IAT sensor electrical connector and disconnect the harness clips.
      Torque: 44 lb-in (5 N·m)
   2. Loosen the clamp, disconnect the air cleaner outlet tube from the air cleaner and remove the air cleaner assembly.
      Torque: 44 lb-in (5 N·m)

Installation

1. 1
   Inspect the turbocharger or engine air intake system components and clean them as necessary.
2. 2
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
