Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery cables.
    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
  2. Remove the battery.

Installation

    • To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • When replacing the battery, use a scan tool to reset the Battery Management System (BMS) after the battery has been disconnected.
