Hydraulic Press

Removal

1. 1
   Remove the wheel bearing and hub.
   Refer to: Wheel Bearing and Hub - FWD (204-02 Rear Suspension, Removal and Installation).
   Refer to: Wheel Bearing and Hub - AWD (204-02 Rear Suspension, Removal and Installation).
2. 2
   Press the wheel stud out of the wheel bearing and the wheel hub flange.
   Use common equipment: hydraulic press

   

3. 3
   Visual Inspection.
   Inspect the wheel bearing and the wheel hub flange for corrosion or damage. Replace as necessary.

   

Installation

1. 1
   Press the wheel stud into the wheel bearing and the wheel hub flange until seated.
   Use common equipment: hydraulic press

   

2. 2
   Install the wheel bearing and hub.
