Removal
  • Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.
  • When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or removal tool, wrap the tools with protective tape to prevent damage to components.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove the interior trim parts without damaging the surface.
  • Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the floor console upper cover. (Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly")
  3. Remove the rear parking assist switch (A) from the floor console upper cover after loosening the mounting screws.

Installation

  1. Install the rear parking assist switch.
  2. Install the floor console upper cover.
  3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
    • Make sure the connectors are connected correctly.
    • Check that the RPAS system operates normally.
