Glass Alignment Inspection

   Check the step height between the roof panel (A) and the glass seal (B), and adjust if necessary. Alignment Adjustment Standard value [mm (in)] (1) Front edge: 0 mm (0 in) (2) Rear edge: 0 mm (0 in) (3) Side edge: 0 mm (0 in)

   Adjust the glass height by slightly loosening the screws (A).

   

When to Initialize the Motor

1. 1
   After initial vehicle assembly.
2. 2
   If the original value is erased or damaged due to a short circuit during operation.
3. 3
   After using the manual handle.

Sunroof Emergency Handle Operation

1. 1
   Use the sunroof emergency handle to manually close or open the sunroof if it cannot be closed electronically due to a motor or controller electrical malfunction.

   If necessary, initialize the sunroof according to the initialization procedure. Whenever the vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged, or you use the emergency handle to operate the sunroof, you must reset the sunroof system as follows:

   1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and fully close the sunroof.
   2. Release the sunroof control lever.
   3. Press and hold the CLOSE button for more than 10 seconds until the sunroof closes and moves.
   4. Release the sunroof control lever.
   5. Press and hold the CLOSE button again for 3 seconds until the sunroof does the following:

      A.	Tilt down > Slide open > Slide close

      Then release the lever.
   6. The sunroof system reset procedure is complete.
