Inspection

  1. Remove the upper hood cover. (Refer to Body - "Upper Cover Panel")
  2. Disconnect the windshield de-icer connector.
  3. Check for continuity in the de-icer line terminals.
  4. Turn the ignition and windshield de-icer switch ON, then measure the voltage between the terminals on the wire harness side of the de-icer connector.

    OK: Approx. battery voltage (12 V)
