If the vehicle must be towed, call a professional service. Never tow a vehicle with a simple rope or chain. This is very dangerous.EMERGENCY TOWING There are three common methods of towing a vehicle: - A professional loads the vehicle onto the tow truck bed. This is the safest method of transporting the vehicle. - The tow truck uses two swivel arms that are placed under the wheels of the drive axle, and lifts them. The other two wheels remain in contact with the ground. - The tow truck has metal cables with hooks on the ends. These hooks go around the chassis or suspension parts, and the cables lift one end of the vehicle. The suspension and body may be seriously damaged if this towing method is used. If the vehicle cannot be transported on a flatbed, tow it with the drive axle wheels lifted and perform the following procedure: MANUAL TRANSAXLE
