NOTICE

  • It is acceptable to add 3 psi to the standard tire pressure specification if a cold spell is expected in the near future. Tires normally lose 1 psi (7 kPa) for every 12°F (7°C) drop in temperature. If extreme temperature changes are expected, recheck tire pressure as necessary to keep tires properly inflated.
  • Air pressure normally decreases as you go to higher altitudes above sea level. Therefore, if you plan to drive in high-altitude areas, check the tire pressure in advance. If necessary, inflate them to the proper level. (Tire pressure increase for altitude: +2.4 psi per 1 mile)

NOTICE

When replacing tires, use tires of the same size as originally supplied with the vehicle. Using tires of a different size may cause damage to related components or improper operation.
