Description

The air conditioning air filter is located in the blower unit. It removes foreign substances and odors. The particulate filter functions as an odor filter as well as a general dust filter to maintain a comfortable interior environment.

Repair Procedures

Replacement

When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or puller, wrap the tool with protective tape to prevent damage to the components. Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.

   Remove the plug (B) from the glove box (A).

   Remove the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).

   Remove the filter cover (A) by pressing the handle.

   Replace the air filter (A) with a new one in accordance with the air filter replacement instructions.

   Install in the reverse order of removal.

   To easily remove the filter, press the right side inward, then pull out the filter. When driving in areas with polluted air or on unpaved roads, inspect and replace the air filter as frequently as possible.
