Description

The rear view camera is activated when the reverse lights are turned on with the ignition switched ON and the shift lever in the R position. This system is an auxiliary system that displays the area behind the vehicle on the AV monitor or the ECM mirror (Reverse Display Room Mirror) during reversing.

This system is only a supplemental function. It is the driver's responsibility to always check the inside/outside rear view mirrors and the area behind the vehicle before and while reversing, as this is a blind spot that cannot be seen through the camera.
