Front Ventilated Seats

■ Front Seat

■ Rear Seat (2nd Row)

Ventilated seats are provided to cool the front seats by airflow through small ventilation holes on the surface of the seat cushions and seatbacks.

When the air conditioning is not operating, keep the seat ventilation switch in the OFF position.

With the engine running, press the switch to cool the driver's seat or front passenger seat.

• Each time you press the switch, the airflow changes as follows:

• Press and hold the switch for more than 1.5 seconds to turn the seat ventilation operation off.
• The seat ventilation defaults to the OFF position whenever the vehicle is started.

Information

• If the outside temperature is below approximately 33°F (2°C), the seat ventilation may not operate.
• Use seat ventilation when the climate control system is on. Using seat ventilation for long periods with the climate control system off may reduce the performance of the climate control seat.

NOTICE

To avoid damage to the ventilated seat:

• Use seat ventilation ONLY when the climate control system is on. Using seat ventilation for long periods with the climate control system off may cause the seat ventilation to malfunction.
• Never use a solvent such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline to clean the seats.
• Avoid spilling liquids on the surface of the front seats and seatbacks; this may cause air ventilation holes to become blocked and not function properly.
• Do not place items such as plastic bags or newspapers under the seats. They may block the air intake, causing the air ventilation holes to not function properly.
• Do not change the seat covers. This may damage the ventilated seat.
• If the ventilation holes do not function, restart the vehicle. If there is no change, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
