Capacities and Recommended Lubricants

~1min read

To optimize the performance and durability of the engine and transmission, use only high-quality lubricants. Using the appropriate lubricants also improves engine efficiency and thus saves more fuel money.

We recommend that you use these lubricants and fluids for your vehicle.

WARNING

When replacing tires, use tires of the same size as the original tires.

Otherwise, related components may be damaged or may not function properly.

The viscosity (thickness) of engine oil affects fuel economy and vehicle operation in cold weather (engine starting and oil flow). Engine oils with lower viscosity provide better fuel economy and better performance in cold weather; however, engine oils with higher viscosity are required for good lubrication in hot weather.

Using oils other than the recommended ones (regardless of viscosity) may damage the engine.

When selecting oil, consider the temperature range in which the vehicle will be operated until the next oil change. Select the oil viscosity recommended in the table.
