DEPOSIT

  1. Remove the fuel tank. (Refer to Fuel System/Engine Control - "Fuel Tank")
  2. Disconnect the quick-release connector of the evaporation hose (A) and the vent pipe (B).
  3. Remove the canister mounting bolts (C), then remove the canister with the protective cover.
  4. Remove the bolts securing the canister protector (A).

Inspection

  1. Visually inspect the following components.
    • Cracks or leaks in the canister
    • Incorrect connection, kinks, or damage to the evaporation hose
    A: Tank - Atmosphere B: Canister - Fuel Tank C: Canister - Intake Manifold

REMEDY

  1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.

    Canister mounting bolt: 19.6 ~ 29 N·m
