Adjustment

Description

Friction material inside the coupling wears over time. Therefore, the appropriate compensation values must be entered after replacing the controller or coupling. Compensation requirements and procedure
  1. Simultaneous Replacement of 4WD ECU (Controller) and Coupling
    A. Compensation is not required.
  2. Clutch replacement only
    A. Reset the clutch learning of the AWD ECU (controller).
  3. Replacing 4WD ECU (Controller) Only
    A. Before replacement: Check the ECU clutch learning values.
    B. After replacement: Enter the clutch learning data of the original ECU into the new ECU.
