  • Remove the front fork (see Front Fork Removal (Each Fork Leg))
  • Drain the fork oil (see Front Fork Oil Change).
  • Take the dust seal [A] off the outer tube.
  • Remove the retaining ring [B].
  • Separate the outer tube from the inner tube.
