Smart Key Unit Removal

Smart Key Unit

   Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

   Remove the glove box housing (A). (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad")

   Remove the smart key unit (A) after removing the bolts and connectors.

   Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

   Remove the console assembly (A). (Refer to Body - "Console")

   After loosening the antenna bolts (2) and the connector, remove the interior 1 antenna (A).

   Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

   Remove the rear floor console cover (A). (Refer to Body - "Console")

   After loosening the antenna nuts (2) and the connector, remove the interior 2 antenna (A).

    Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

    After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the third seat assembly (A). (Refer to Body - "Rear Seat")

    After loosening the antenna nuts (2) and the connector (A), remove the interior 3 antenna (B).

    Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Remove the rear bumper. (Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper")

    Disconnect the antenna connector (A) in the center of the rear bumper.

    After loosening the screws (2), remove the bumper outside antenna (A).

    Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Remove the front left wheel guard.

    Disconnect the connectors, then remove the buzzer (A).

    Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Disconnect the connector after removing the door trim. (Refer to Body - "Front Door")

    After loosening the mounting bolt, remove the key holder (A).

    Remove the outside handle (A) by sliding it rearward.

    Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Remove the tailgate garnish. (Refer to Body - "Body Side Moldings")

    Remove the outside handle assembly (A) after removing the screws and connectors.

    

27. 27
    Remove the outside handle (A) after removing the screws.

    

Interior 1 Antenna, Interior 2 Antenna, Interior 3 Antenna, Bumper Outside Antenna, Buzzer, Outside Door Handle, Tailgate Switch
