Front Seat
  1. Connect the connector, turn on the seat heater, then check the thermostat by measuring the seat surface temperature.
    Position Cushion Rear
    Step 1 36 ± 2°C
    (97 ± 3.6°F)    		 40 ± 2°C
    (104 ± 3.6°F)
    Step 2 39 ± 2°C
    (102 ± 3.6°F)    		 45 ± 2°C
    (113 ± 3.6°F)
    Step 3 42 ± 2°C
    (108 ± 3.6°F)    		 50 ± 2°C
    (122 ± 3.6°F)
  2. Disconnect the connectors to check circuit continuity and measure the resistance between the terminals.
  3. Measure the resistance between terminals A1 and B1 of the seat cushion.

    Specification Seat cushion resistance: 1.39 Ω ± 10%

  4. Measure the resistance between terminals C1 and C2 of the seat back.

    Specification Seat back resistance: 0.89 Ω ± 10%

  5. To measure the resistance of the seat back and cushion, connect connectors B and C. Measure the resistance between terminals A1 and C1 of the seat.

    Specification Seat assembly resistance: 2.3 Ω ± 10%

  6. Connect the connector, turn on the seat heater, then check the thermostat by measuring the seat surface temperature.

    Specification Seat cushion temperature: 40 ± 2 °C

  7. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 3 of the seat cushion. [Rear right seat]
    [Rear left seat]

    Specification Seat cushion resistance: 4.5 Ω ± 10%
