Inspection of Power Door Lock Actuators

Front Door Lock Actuator

1. 1
   Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Front Door")

   Remove the front door module. (Refer to Body - Front Door)

   Disconnect the actuator connectors.

   Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent actuator damage, apply battery voltage only momentarily.

   Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Rear Door")

   Remove the rear door module. (Refer to Body - Rear Door)

   Disconnect the actuator connectors.

   Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent actuator damage, apply battery voltage only momentarily.

   Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to Body - Rear Door)

    Disconnect the 4P connector from the actuator.

    Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent actuator damage, apply battery voltage only momentarily.

    Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Front Door")

    Remove the front door module. (Refer to Body - Front Door)

    Disconnect the actuator connectors.

    Check the continuity between the terminals at each switch position when the key is inserted in the door, as shown in the table.

    Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Rear Door")

    Remove the rear door module. (Refer to Body - Rear Door)

    Disconnect the actuator connectors.

    Check the continuity between the terminals at each switch position as shown in the table.

    Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to Body - Rear Door)
21. 21
    Disconnect the 4P connector from the actuator.

    Check the continuity between the terminals at each switch position as shown in the table.
