Rear Wiper Motor Inspection

Disconnect the 4-pin connector from the rear wiper motor.

Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) battery cables to terminals 3 and 4, respectively.

Check that the motor operates normally. Replace the motor if it does not operate normally. 1. IG + 2. Park 3. Switch 4. Ground

Operate the motor at low speed using the wiper switch on the steering column.

Stop the motor at any position other than OFF by disconnecting terminal 3.

Connect terminals 2 and 3.

Connect the positive (+) battery cable to terminal 1 and the negative (-) terminal to terminal 4.

Check that the motor stops in the OFF position.
