  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers. (Refer to Steering System - Steering Column)
  3. Remove the lower crash pad panel. (Refer to Body - Crash Pad)
  4. Disconnect the 6-pin connector (A), then remove the ignition switch (A).
  5. Remove the key warning switch and immobilizer connector (A).
  6. Remove the key illumination lens (A).
  7. Remove the key illumination lamp and cover (A).
  8. If it is necessary to remove the key cylinder (A), remove the ACC key cylinder.
