  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal and the positive (+) terminal (A).
  2. Remove the battery mounting bracket (B) and insulation pad, then remove the battery (C).
  3. Remove the air cleaner. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")
  4. Remove the battery tray (A) after removing the bolts (B).
