Cruise Control Switch Inspection

Disconnect the cruise control switch connector from the control module.

Measure the resistance between the terminals on the control switch when each function switch is in the ON position (switch pressed).

Function Switch	Terminal	Resistance
CANCEL	4-5	0 ohms
SET/-	4-5	220 Ω
RES/+	4-5	910 Ω
ON/OFF	3-5	3900 ohms

If not within specification, replace the switch.

Connect the cruise control switch connector to the control switch.

Measure the voltage between the terminals of the harness-side connector when each function switch is in the ON position (switch pressed).

Function Switch	Terminal	Voltage
CANCEL	4-5	0 V ~ 0.22 V
SET/-	4-5	1.28 V ~ 1.77 V
RES/+	4-5	2.78 V ~ 3.22 V
ON/OFF	3-5	-

If not within specification, replace the switch.38
