Fluid Level Adjustment Procedure

Fluid Level Check

   Remove the ATF injection hole plug (banjo bolt) (A).

   Add 700 cc of ATF SP-IV through the ATF filler hole.

   Start the engine. (Do not depress the brake and accelerator pedals at the same time.

   Make sure the A/T fluid temperature sensor temperature is 50~60 °C using GDS.

   Slowly move the selector lever from the "P" position to the "D" position, then from the "D" position to the "P" position, and repeat once more at idle.

   Raise the vehicle, then remove the oil level plug (A) from the valve body cover.

   If the fluid flows out of the level plug in a thin, steady stream, the fluid level is correct. Then complete the procedure and tighten the level plug.

   Lower the vehicle using the lift, then tighten the eye bolt.
