Description

The ratcheting tightening device on the fuel tank filler cap reduces the possibility of incorrect installation that would fail to close the fuel filler neck. When the gasket on the fuel tank cap and the filler neck flange contact each other, the ratchet makes an audible click, indicating the seal is installed.
