Inspection

  1. The rear window defroster switch inputs can be checked using the GDS.
  2. To check the input value of the rear window defogger switch, select the "Body Control Module" option.
  3. To view the current input/output value of the BCM, use "Current Data". This provides information on the input/output conditions of the BCM of the Smart Junction Box.
  4. To check the input value of the rear window defogger switch in forced mode, select the "Actuation Test" option of the Smart Junction Box.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the heater and A/C controller after loosening the screws. (Refer to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - Heater and A/C Control.) Unit (MANUAL)") (Refer to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - Heater and A/C Control.) Unit (DATC)")

Installation

  1. Install the heater and A/C controller to the center panel.
  2. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
