Headliner Assembly Repair Procedures

Replacement

   Remove the rear seat assembly. (Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly")

   Remove the front pillar garnish. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Front Pillar Trim")

   Remove the upper center pillar garnish. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Center Pillar Trim")

   Remove the luggage compartment side trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Luggage Compartment Side Trim")

   Remove the rear pillar garnish. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Rear Pillar Trim")

   Remove the sun visor and holder. (Refer to Headliner - "Sun Visor")

   Remove the assist grip. (Refer to Headliner - "Assist Grip")

   Remove the overhead console lamp.

   Remove the room lamp. [General Type]

    Remove the ECM mirror cover (B).

    Disconnect the ECM mirror connector (A).

    Remove the auto anti-dazzle sensor cover (B).

    Disconnect the auto anti-dazzle sensor connector (A).

    Remove the rain sensor cover (B).

    Disconnect the rain sensor connector (A).

    Disconnect the headliner main connector (A) and the mounting clips at the front pillar.

    Disconnect the roof antenna connector (A) and the mounting clips on the front pillar.

    Disconnect the roof antenna connector (A).

    Disconnect the sunroof motor connector (A).

    Disconnect the clips, then remove the headliner assembly (A).

    Remove the vanity light.

    Remove the hands-free microphone.

    Disconnect the headliner wiring harness (A) from the headliner (B).

    Install in the reverse order of removal.
