Roof Antenna

Your vehicle uses a roof-mounted antenna to receive both AM and FM broadcast signals. This antenna is removable.

To remove the antenna, turn it counterclockwise. To install the antenna, turn it clockwise.

CAUTION

  • Before entering a place with low overhead clearance or an automatic car wash, be sure to remove the antenna by turning it counterclockwise. Otherwise, the antenna may be damaged.
  • When reinstalling the antenna, it is important that it is fully tightened and set in the vertical position to ensure proper reception. It can be folded down or removed when parking the vehicle or when loading cargo onto the roof rack.
  • When loading cargo onto the roof rack, do not place the cargo near the antenna mast to ensure proper reception.
