Switching on and off

WARNING

Before driving, make sure all windows are free of snow or ice. Otherwise, you may not be able to assess traffic conditions due to poor visibility and could cause an accident.

  • Turn the key to position 2 in the ignition switch.
  • Press the button.

The indicator light built into the buttonou s'éteint.lights up
or goes out.

Rear window heating consumes a lot of power. Therefore, switch it off as soon as the rear window is clear. Otherwise, rear window heating switches off automatically after a few minutes of operation.

When battery voltage is too low, rear window heating may switch off.

Rear window heating problems

Rear window heating switched off too early or cannot be switched on.

  • Switch off non-essential consumers (such as reading lights or interior lighting).

As soon as the battery is sufficiently charged, you can switch rear window heating on again.
